Blow your mind: William Shatner covers “Bohemian Rhapsody”… seriously

Ever wanted to hear Captain Kirk sing (well… that’s debatable) “Bohemian Rhapsody”?

Probably never entered your mind.  And now it’ll never leave.  On his new album of space-themed covers (which features guest appearances from Brad Paisley, Zakk Wylde, Sheryl Crow, Steve Miller, Peter Frampton, members of The Strokes, and more), William Shatner provides a dramatic spoken-word cover of Queen‘s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” as well as other classic songs like “She Blinded Me with Science,” “Iron Man,” and “Spirit in the Sky.”

It has to be one of the most epic moments in the history of mankind.  We should put this in a time capsule so that people in 3000 A.D. will understand the culture of early 21st-century America.

Hear “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and the entire rest of the album, on Soundcloud.  Peep the amazingly corny Shatneriffic album art below:
