After their more-than-solid showing at London 2012, the British certainly aren’t mourning any “sporting defeats” right now, but fresh Soho artists English Sporting Defeat don’t care. They love their name so much that they used it for their first song (or the other way around… whatever), which is a pop-rock song that tastes of post-punk and garage grime when you lick it enough. There is no real depth to this song, but if the band can write something this catchy and fun less than a year after uniting, they might have a bright future.
