DeTune: Taco’s well-dressed 1983 hit “Puttin’ on the Ritz”

“Gotta dance,” they say.  ”If you’re blue and you don’t know where to go to, why don’t you go where fashion sits puttin’ on the ritz?”

The song itself is 83 years old, written by Irving Berlin in 1929, but Taco‘s one-hit-wonder cover of it is just approaching 30.  Anyone listening to the radio in 1983 probably remembers it, but what about the rest of us?  We need a little refresher on great pop music from time to time, so listen and download below.
