We first highlighted London indie pop-rockers Zulu Winter back in April with the catchy, chorus-centric “Silver Tongue.” Now we’ve got another free download from the band’s album Language, which was just released on Tuesday.
Perhaps this one will make a fan out of you where “Silver Tongue” may have failed — it builds to a magnificent closing by way of a slow crescendo, and there are definite elements of neo-folk rock in there. ”Hey, turn all the lights on/ This bitter moon is rising,” the band intone from somewhere inside the mix, and it’s a great sentiment — though it could certainly use a little elucidation.
