We first heard from ANGO, a.k.a. Montreal’s [AN]drew [GO]rdon MacPherson, on last November’s “Better for You,” a warm synthpop tune that I was surprised to find I couldn’t put down. Following that, MacPherson teamed up with producer Jacques Greene on a cover of Sade‘s classic 1992 R&B/soul/soft rock hit “No Ordinary Love,” which I adored.
The latest from ANGO, however, is no cover song — “Paralyzed” meshes EDM (electronic dance music) with R&B flavors and sticky synths, and one can imagine a couple of naked lovers moving sensually through a ritzy mansion to this music. Listen and download for free below.
