Candice Gordon is a singer-songwriter from Berlin, Germany, and a song from her upcoming September 7 debut release caught our ears this morning.  ”I See a Demon” is a 2.5-minute neo-folk exploration of the darkness of the consciousness.  Gordon explains it:

I wrote “I See A Demon” hallucinating from sleep deprivation. It was about the time that I was recording with Shane [McGowan]. A number of fiendish demons visited my dreams. I was inspired by these and also by a neuroscience article I had read about.
