Funky politico-rap outfit The Coup haven’t released an album since 2006′s Pick a Bigger Weapon, but on October 30, they’ll drop their first record in 6 years, Sorry to Bother You. The first single is the catchy, driving “The Magic Clap”… which, as you might imagine, features a whole helluva lot of handclapping.
Is it just me, or does the rapper sound almost identical to Outkast/André 3000? Even the song’s general structure and feel are reminiscent of Outkast’s early work, which makes me like the track even more. Hear it below!
