Jhameel’s minimal, 3-minute cover of the Bee Gees’ “Stayin Alive” [MP3]

The California-based singer-songwriter-amazing dancer Jhameel has long been on our radar, and if you don’t know him yet, get acquainted with the talented musician below through our Previously section.  But first, take a listen to his minimal, sped-up version of the Bee Gees‘ disco hit “Stayin’ Alive.”  I’ve heard some diverse covers of the song, from The Rosebuds’ melancholy, sad version (which actually introduced me to the band) to Kingsley and Perdomo’s kickass backporch-folk version, and this under-3-minutes cover demonstrates once again how versatile “Stayin’ Alive” truly is.
