Like Still Corners? Try Pale Seas’ gloomy shoegaze-pop tune “My Own Mind”

We first heard up-and-coming Southampton indie group Pale Seas on the twinkling, wistful, folk-poppy cut “Something or Nothing” back in February.  Since then the band seem to have refined and cleaned up their sound, moving towards a shoegaze pop ethos à la Still Corners.  The My Own Mind/Bodies double-A side single will be out in September, and this is the first cut, a gloomy, depressive ode called “My Own Mind.”  It gives me tingles.  Listen below and grab the MP3 for free by Liking the band’s Facebook page.
