M+A fill up M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes” with piano, bells, and children at play

The sound of children playing in a schoolyard introduces a new cover from Italian electro/experimental pop duo M+A, a wonderfully pensive interpretation of the similarly-named M.I.A.‘s worldwide hit “Paper Planes.”  In the world of M+A, the song doesn’t have a hip-hop beat or sampled gunshots and cash registers on the chorus — rather, it’s a full of piano, bells, and the pleasant afternoon sound of those children playing.  This one’s probably my favorite cover of “Paper Planes” to date.  Stream it below.
