Toronto pop trio Dragonette have found limited success in their home country of Canada and in the U.K. with their first two albums (and not made a mark in the U.S. at all), but judging by the three songs I’ve heard so far, Dragonette’s third album may be the charm. The band make charismatic, fun pop music (with more than a touch of ‘tude) à la La Roux or Marina & the Diamonds, and their newest offering is the earworm club smasher “Live in This City,” which proclaims, “I only live in this city cause the city can’t live without me.” Hear the track below.
