NYC indie pop-rockers Nightmare of You‘s 2005 and 2009 releases were vastly underrated, perhaps because reviewers had forgotten what the band sounded like between the releases thanks to the extensive 4-year wait. In fact, I found them through Absolutepunk.net — not your typical source for indie groups — because many other outlets completely ignored them. But the band make retro ’70s-influenced tunes that are exceptionally sweet to the taste.
Below, try out “Give Us a Kiss,” the band’s newest song, if you want a good sampling of their sound, and then head to iTunes to get to know them better.
