I’d never heard either of Canadian indie rock band Rah Rah‘s previous two albums, released in 2008 and 2010, but the first single from their TBA fall release The Poet’s Dead caught my ears today. It’s called “Little Poems,” and it’s a take-it-easy six-minute tune coated in alt-country and layers of instrumentation. I’m not going to compare it to any certain bands, because the band takes this sound and makes it their own. Besides, you can hear the song below with one click of the mouse anyway.
