Song of the Day: “Holy No” is delicious, menacing indie pop from Gold Fields

The self-titled debut EP from Australian funk-pop band Gold Fields is out now, and I’d already heard the lead cut “Treehouse” earlier this year.  But the best cut from the EP is this song, a midtempo pop song with a great groove and just the right amount of menace behind it.  It’s a hot mess of deliciousness — the only problem is that it’s a mere 3 minutes in length.  You can hear the song, which invokes dark disco nights and kisses in the back of church, below.
