Spoon singer Britt Daniel, Wolf Parade/Handsome Furs guitarist Dan Boeckner, and New Bomb Turks‘ drummer Sam Brown have formed a new supergroup called Divine Fits, and they will release their debut single “My Love Is Real” on July 31. Don’t be fooled by the cover art — the word “is” is always capitalized in titles because it’s a verb.
Anyhow, the song is an electropop drug laced with synthesized strings, catchy riffs, and lines like “My love is real until it stops.” It’s a wholly enjoyable number, and I can’t wait to see what else these guys can do together. Listen below.
