You may have a step-father, a step-mother, step-siblings, even a step-dog… but I bet you’ve never had a Step-Panther. Well, now’s your chance. Step-Panther are an Australian alt-rock trio from Sydney whose music would probably sound blasphemous inside of their great opera house — “Galactic Hurricane” is a menacing post-punk tune that has elements of classic hard rock as well as modern garage. It’s strangely irresistible, however, especially if you like your rock music squealing forth in varying tempos. Watch the minimalist black-and-white video below.
