Brooklyn rock band Alberta Cross, which was formed several years ago in London by Petter Ericson Stakee and Terry Wolfers, will release its sophomore LP, Songs Of Patience, on July 17 via ATO Records. A follow-up to the group’s 2009 debut Broken Side Of Time, the album expands on the duo’s propulsive, grandiose rock sound. “Magnolia” is a thoughtful, expansive number that feels ready for a stadium show. Maybe that will be a reality soon.
