U.K. act Dignan Porch’s absorbing, melodic indie rock song “Sad Shape”

On August 14, U.K. indie rock act Dignan Porch will release Nothing Bad Will Ever Happen, their first album since 2010′s Tendrils, which was a solo effort by the band’s Joe Walsh (no, not that Joe Walsh, a different one).  Nothing Bad Will Ever Happen is a full-band effort, however — and thank god for that, as “Sad Shape” just wouldn’t be the same without it’s punishing guitars and tension-building drum rolls.  ”Sad Shape” is one of those songs that lies in the now – it absorbs you, grasping you by the heart and squeezing out the past and the future.  Yes, that’s a weird metaphor.  But I stand by it.  I love great indie rock songs, and this is one.  Listen below.
