If you can’t tell by the fact that I’ve given Brixton, U.K. singer Jessie Ware not one but two About to Breaks, I’m convinced that by the end of 2012 she’ll be a big thing. She’s already well underway, charting at #61 in the U.K. with her recent single “110%” and building excitement for her debut album Devotion, due out August 20, and picking up Facebook fans by the thousands.
On “Wildest Moments,” the former release from Devotion, I compared Ware to Austra, but on her newest, “Sweet Talk,” the musician strongly channels Sade, with some electronic elements. It’s a wonderful example of R&B in 2012, and I highly recommend checking it out below no matter what kind of music you enjoy.
