Back on June 11, pop-rock champions Matchbox Twenty returned with their first new single in 5 years, “She’s So Mean,” in preparation for their first album in 10 years. However, the song — a she’s-a-bitch-but-I-can’t-resist-her ode complete with handclaps and Rob Thomas’ charismatic vocals — left a little to be desired.
The video is similar, an entertaining clip that shows the aforementioned bitchy girl stealing Brian’s bass guitar, pouring coffee on the mixing board, and lighting Paul’s drumset on fire. But though it’s fun, it has no true depth. Oh well. Still great to see Matchbox back in action. Watch the clip below!
